Yahweh will not share His glory with another. Jesus shared the Father’s glory before the world began. Therefore, not another, the same Person……………………………………………………….But they are not the same person there is a distinction between the two in the entire New Testament. And a truth is that whoever receives the apostles receives Jesus, it’s a biblical truth that if you reject a CHRISTIAN PROPHET, YOU are rejecting the one who sent him JESUS and the one that sent Jesus. But if you received a Prophet your receiving Jesus also, and he who sent him YHWH.
16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. (Luk 10:16-17 KJV)
It works the same way with honoring Jesus where also honoring the one who sent him YHWH by accepting Jesus.
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. (Joh 5:23 KJV)
This also goes for glorifying Jesus is also glorifying God the father, because we are honoring God’s Messiah who is always glorifying the Father.
These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. (Joh 17:1-8 KJV)
How did the apostles glorify God? They glorified God with their deaths, they were obedient to the example and the teachings of Christ they followed God’s Messiah and because they accepted and obeyed God’s Messiah they also accepted andobeyed God himself since Jesus was God’s representative, and glorify God by their testimony and death in obedience to the son of God Jesus Christ.
18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should GLORIFY GOD. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. (Joh 21:18-19 KJV)
Here’s another example of the principle of being God’s representative.
36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.40 For he that is not against us is on our part.41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. (Mar 9:36-42 KJV)
Yahweh will not share His glory with another. Jesus shared the Father’s glory before the world began. Therefore, not another, the same Person
